The college has various modern facilities including 1100 seated auditorium. A recent addition was the art precent which is a weather protect or additional space for meeting and exhibitions.
A detailed assessment was carried out in accordance to the structural and architectural drawings provided by the builder. The engineers focused on various aspects while assessing including additional loads to the roof structure such as HVAC ducts, artificial lights, suspended ceiling etc.
It was necessary to narrowly limit the deflections of the primary beams because they were also to be used to support art centre special equipment.
